Your Questions Answered

This page is to help you find quick answers to questions that you may have before booking your discovery call.

If you cannot find your answer, please contact me.

What happens in a discovery call?

I'll ask a brief set of medical questions to ensure that I can help you safely and within my clinical scope. It's a good opportunity to discuss in more detail what you're struggling with and what you would like to achieve together.

How many sessions do I need?

It depends. Have a think about your current struggles, and how long you can commit to... look at your schedule and reflect on what is realistic for you... To give you some ideas, clients who want to improve their relationship with food normally book four to twelve sessions. For others that would like a general review and feedback then sometimes two sessions are enough.

How long are the sessions?

Each session is 60 minutes. Once you have received four sessions, there is the option to book 45- and 30-minute follow-up consultations.

Do you offer face to face consultations?

Yes! I offer home visits and a travel fee is calculated based on the time it takes to reach your postcode. Please note I have an allergy to cats so regret I cannot visit you if you have cats unless you have a garden.

Alternatively, you may wish to hire a meeting room (I normally use an excellent office in Richmond upon Thames which is £65 per hour however, I can locate a meeting room closer to your postal code if preferred).

Do you offer consultations in other languages?

Consultations are in English.

If you would like to request consultations in Cantonese Chinese, I can only provide this at a colloquial level and recommend that you and/or an interpreter are present during the consultation. On occasions, I am able to source an interpreter on your behalf at a discounted fee.

Do you accept private health insurance?

Yes. I am registered with the award-winning health insurer Western Provident Association (WPA) so for any other health insurers, please check if your insurance covers a HCPC Registered Dietitian working in private practice. Please enquire if you have any queries

Can I create my own package?

Yes! The minimum booking is two consultations and you can add more sessions, a bespoke meal plan, private blood testing and so much more. Please let me know what you would like and I'll create it for you!

Can I buy a package as a gift?

Yes absolutely! Please let me know which package you would like and we can send this electronically or through Royal Mail (postage and packaging fees apply).

How do I pay for the sessions?

Following our discovery call, you will receive an email with all the information and an invoice. Full payment for the chosen number of sessions must be received in full prior to the initial consultation.

When can I book my sessions?

My clinic is open for consultation bookings from Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 20:00 and Fridays 08:00-18:00.

You can book a discovery call by checking my most up-to-date availability on the calendar here. If you cannot find a slot that suits you, please email or text 07595189158.

What happens if I can't make my session?

A 48-hour rescheduling/cancellation policy applies to all pre-booked consultations.

If cancelled less than 48 hours or no notice is provided by the client, the pre-booked session is deemed as used and cannot be rebooked.

All consultation packages have a unique expiry date which will be emailed to you when you book.

Purchased consultations and any unused consultations cannot be extended or refunded.

I have another question that's not on here, can I contact you?

Yes absolutely, please contact me
